🔹 3m Trail/Working Equitation Bridge – Description:

This bridge is a sturdy, elevated platform typically measuring 3 metres (approx. 10 feet) long, 1–1.5 metres wide, and 10–30 cm high, depending on design. It simulates crossing a real-world structure such as a footbridge, dock, or narrow boardwalk.

🪵 Key Features:

  • Solid timber or composite deck with good traction (often grooved or rubberised).

  • Side rails optional – some bridges are open to challenge steering and trust, while others have low side rails for visual guidance.

  • Often includes a gradual incline and decline for smooth entry/exit.

  • Designed for slow, controlled movement — typically walked over, sometimes trotted in higher levels of working equitation.

🐎 Purpose & Benefits:

  • Builds trust and calmness, teaching the horse to step onto and across unusual footing.

  • Improves straightness, balance, and responsiveness to rider aids.

  • Prepares horses for trail riding, trekking, or versatility competitions.

  • Encourages careful foot placement and mental focus.

🧠 Ideal Use:
